| Course Profile |
| The Raven Club at Lora Bay is a throwback to classic golf architecture. The course's dramatic design and layout was dictated by the dynamics of the forested shoreline of Georgian Bay and the Nipissing Ridge.
The Raven Club is probably best described as a parkland design, sets up from five sets of tees, includes very few forced carries, affords great views of Georgian Bay and is very playable for golfers of all abilities. |

| A mix of blue grass and fescue gives the course a distinctive look while providing firm and fast golf. The distinctive "muscular" bunkers present trugged edges yet blend in well with the course's natural, dramatic setting. |
 |
The greens feature intriguing and occasionally severe contouring on the perimeters and rear portions, creating putting surfaces that offer numerous short-game options while adding an element of luck.
The architects also chose to preserve several existing features on the property in place - e.g. an old barn, stone fencerow. Both believe that they have created a golf experience that will provide Canadians with a positive first impression of the Raven Golf brand. |
