| Recognized as one of Niagara's best courses, Peninsula Lakes GC has been repeatedly listed on the Toronto Star's Bogey Man's Top 18 GTA / Niagara courses.
Peninsula Lakes GC features bent grass throughout (tees, fairways, greens), multiple tee boxes and short rough. There are numerous strategically placed fairway bunkers and most greens are guarded by generally small, shallow, very playable sand traps. Peninsula Lakes' mid-size greens are as good as any in Niagara, putting fast and true. |
| As the name suggests, the original Quarry Course (3204 yards / par 35) is defined by a descent to the quarry bottom and a gradual return to the clubhouse atop its rim. The Quarry nine includes four (4) large "lakes" which can come into play on holes # 1, 2, 5 and 6. The fairways are generous, but well defined by numerous bunkers and perimeter hazards, including rough, mounds, scattered trees and OB. |
 |
| The Hillside Course (3260 yards / par 36) is adjacent to the clubhouse and the Quarry Course and completes the original 18-hole layout. It is consistent with the Quarry Course in that ponds come into play on several holes, including # 4, 5, 7 and 8. This nine more so than the others makes imaginative use of its many lakes and offers some very scenic hole settings. |
|
The Orchard Course (3221 yards / par 35), already looks as though it has always been there. The first few holes makes good use of elevation changes, while still more "lakes" define holes # 6, 7 & 8 later in the round. While a bit flatter and straighter than the other nines, the Orchard Course is a bit narrower and plays a bit longer than the others. |

Peninsula Lakes GC has become a Niagara favourite, and the reasons for its popularity and designation by Golf Digest as "Niagara's Best" are instantly obvious. Peninsula Lakes was also recognized by Score Golf Magazine as one of Canada's "most underrated" courses and by the Toronto Star's Bogey Man as one of the GTA's "Top 18" courses. From the clubhouse atop the quarry rim, take in a view to a golf landscape that no other Niagara course offers. |
| Peninsula Lakes GC is unique among Niagara golf courses, offering a wonderful mix of challenge, superior course conditioning, aesthetics and playability. The modest elevation changes, rolling "dog-leg" fairways, numerous lakes and secluded greens separate each hole, putting other golfers "out of sight, out of mind". Designed to challenge yet satisfy golfers at every skills level, Peninsula Lakes plays fairly for all. |

Loosen up before teeing off because the Quarry Course starts off with two signature holes - the dogleg-left, par-4 1st that sweeps around the lake on the corner and the strategic par-3 2nd hole. When the wind blows a bit, this nine can play v-e-r-y long, especially the par-5 7th (where an elephant has been buried smack in the middle of the green) and the deceptive par-3 9th. The par-5 8th is a great hole that drops away from the tee shot landing area and offers the best opportunity for a birdie.
The Hillside nine starts with Pen Lakes' only short par-4, but bites back with the very tough par-3 2nd hole. The par-5 3rd is all downhill and can be reached with two long, straight ones. Enjoy the beauty of holes # 4 & 5 that have been built between the lakes, but hit it straight ! The key to going for the green in two on the closing par-5 9th is keeping the tee ball in the fairway right. |
| On the Orchard side, the opening holes are varied, straightforward and offer up good scoring chances, so make the most of those opportunities. Looking down to the green from the elevated tee, the short par-3 6th is as pretty a hole as you will find in Niagara, its green almost entirely surrounded by water. The par-5 7th and the mid-iron par-3 8th are challenging holes, both of which have water fronting the green. Oftentimes, any stroke gained on # 7 is quickly surrendered on # 8. |
| Peninsula Lakes GC offers 27 holes of championship golf, personalized guest services and a luxurious clubhouse. As one of Niagara's "must play" courses, plan an entire day at Peninsula Lakes GC because you will want to play all three nines.
Peninsula Lakes GC is a proud member of the Niagara Golf Trail. |
