| The Georgian Triangle's dynamic tourism industry was first generated by Blue Mountain skiing and the sands of Wasaga Beach, and more recently, a growing cottage / vacation / retirement housing boom. Ontario's emerging golf hotspot, the Georgian Triangle / Collingwood area has rightfully claimed a place among Ontario's best regional golf destinations list. With so much more than winter skiing and summer beaches, the region now boasts a number of public championship courses, upscale private layouts and outstanding golf resorts.
Also "in the works" are a number of new golf courses and lifestyle communities, including Oslerbrook G&CC, IntraWest's Raven Club at Lora Bay (Tom Lehman & Thomas McBroom) and Silver Creek GC, a Greg Norman design. |
