The Chippawa GC might best be described as an "executive" course measuring just 2201 yards (par 30), but still offers the advantages of exceptional conditioning, multiple tees, a variety of hazards including Ussher's Creek, a man-made lake, fairway and greenside bunkers, and PGA-quality greens.
The layout includes six par-3's and three par-4's (# 4,8,9), yet is still demanding enough to require accuracy off the tee, solid iron play, and a deft short game. The course begins with series of short, relatively easy holes followed by progressively more challenging holes. Both # 6 & 7 are par-3's across a small lake, # 8 is a well-bunkered par-4, and # 9 is a par-4 cut through a thick woodlot and requires both an accurate drive and approach shot to the green.
