In the category of Ontario's Best New Course, courses had to officially open during the 2006 golf season. To qualify, courses must also be 18 holes, at least 6000 yards off the white / men's tees, and par 68 or higher. Teeing It Up ONTARIO has made every effort to include all new qualifying courses in its survey. |

For 2006, the Muskoka Bay Club, a Doug Carrick design located in Gravenhurst, has been selected as Ontario's "Best New Course" by Teeing It Up ONTARIO.
The latest jewel of Muskoka golf – perhaps the shiniest yet – is an inspiring layout with dramatic elevation changes and massive rock outcroppings, and provides some truly scenic vistas and challenging golf.
