| The criteria for ranking golf courses are as varied as the courses themselves, with some ranking agencies using course difficulty, others rewarding aesthetics, customer service, membership and / or practice facilities. The fact of the matter is that there is simply no one correct or fair way to objectively compare or rank golf courses.
As new courses continue to spring up just about everywhere, and older courses undergo improvements, golf course rankings are sure to change. Sometimes, for a variety of reasons, outstanding courses may never be recognized or ranked among Ontario's best. It is impossible to fairly rank golf courses that one has not played. |
