The Tour Championship Tournament is considered the crown jewel of the Canadian Tour and the St. Catharines Golf & Country Club is pleased to host the 2009 playing of this prestigious event Monday, August 31 through Sunday, September 6.

For more than 20 years, the Canadian Tour has proven to be an outstanding training ground for PGA TOUR success. Canadian Mike Weir, the winner of eight PGA Tour titles - including the 2003 Masters - earned "Rookie of the Year" honours on the Canadian Tour in 1993. Four seasons later, Weir captured the 1997 Canadian Masters and BC Tel Pacific Open as well as the Canadian PGA Tour's Order of Merit title. ( more ... )

Teeing It Up VP-Golf Operations, Bill Rivers is an Ontario Golf "Top 50" panelist participating in the 2009 ranking of Ontario's premier golf courses - including public, semi-private and private courses.The panel consists of 60 of the top golf writers in Ontario, a number of its finest players— both amateur and professional — key industry types, golf association executives, and even a few passionate recreational golfers. To eliminate bias, panel members cannot select courses with which they are affiliated.
