| Course Profile |
| When John Geale Dickenson first laid out a few golf holes in 1875 on the Fort George common, just across the road from the family home on John Street, little did he know that it was the beginning of North America's golf history.
Niagara-on-the-Lake GC also had the distinction of being the host course to the first-ever international tournament held in North America - the Niagara International - held September, 1895. |

Niagara’s only country inn situated within a working vineyard is just a few minutes from Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, along the Niagara Parkway, and offers a breathtaking view of the Niagara River. The classically elegant 21-room country inn radiates gracious old-world charm and historic Georgian elegance with quality antiques and artifacts, fireplaces, exceptional dining, amenities, and an attentive staff. |
| Guests at the stately 1860's Georgian mansion enjoy the 17 acres of vineyards, manicured lawns and gardens. But the Riverbend Inn’s impressive interior recalls a rich history stretching back to some of the region’s earliest settlers. In 2002 the property was purchased by the Wiens family. Under their energetic ownership, a complete restoration was undertaken, adding modern amenities while carefully recreating the estate’s authentic Georgian splendour. |
