Peninsula Lakes GC Peninsula Lakes GC has systematically evolved from gravel pit to one of Niagara's premier courses. Designed by renowned architect, Rene Muylaert, Peninsula Lakes boasts 27 championship holes - the Quarry, Hillside and Orchard nines. Each layout makes the most of modest elevation changes, man-made lakes and the natural contours of the landscape and are well balanced in terms of length, difficulty and playing conditions.

Peninsula Lakes GC features bent grass throughout (tees, fairways, greens), multiple tee boxes and short rough. On all three courses, there are numerous strategically placed fairway bunkers and most greens are guarded by very playable sand traps. The mid-size greens are as good as any in Niagara, holding well-hit shots, putting fast and true. Given the elevation changes, especially on the Quarry-Hillside combo, carts are recommended.

Given the quality of the course, Peninsula Lakes GC offers great value and is one of Niagara's "must play" courses. But plan on devoting an entire day to Peninsula Lakes GC. Once at the course, you will want to play all three nines.
