Practice makes perfect, and there's no better place to work at improving all aspects of your game - driving, iron play, short game or bunker play - than a practice facility / driving range. The golf course is no place to practise or experiment ! The range is also the best place to work with swings aids, correct your grip, set up, alignment, posture, swing tempo and develop a consistent pre-shot routine. Methodically hitting a 100 or so balls can also be one heck of a workout !
		Systematic and purposeful practice will undoubtedly carry over to the golf course, where the improvements made on the range will show themselves in a better swing and, just as importantly, lower scores. The 16-acre Golf Port Driving Range uses quality, brand name balls and offers 7 mat and 14 turf tees, marked yardages, 7 target greens, a 2500 square-foot chipping / putting green and a practice bunker. Open seven days a week, the Golf Port Driving Range also provides practice clubs (including children's clubs) @ no charge. Getting a little golf instruction and hitting a bucket of balls is an ideal birthday or special event activity. Goodies and soft drinks are available at the snack bar.
