The Port Colborne-Wainfleet LEADER has been recognized for its editorial support of the Teeing It Up NIAGARA project and the promotion of golf tourism in Niagara. In addition to regularly featuring the progress and successes of the project, the LEADER has published the Teeing It Up NIAGARA column continuously for three seasons (2002 - 2004).

| Peninsula Lakes GC has been recognized for its sponsorship support of the Teeing It Up NIAGARA project and the promotion of golf tourism in Niagara.
Peninsula Lakes GC was also the site of a COGECO-TV program that profiled Teeing It Up NIAGARA on the community channel program, The Source.

Legends on the Niagara has been recognized by Teeing It Up NIAGARA for hosting the LPGA's 2004 BMO Canadian Women's Open in July / 04. The very successful and well attended event was staged on the Doug Carrick designed Battlefield course.
Since its opening in 2002, the Legends on the Niagara has also garnered several Niagara Golf Awards, including "Best New Course" (2002) and "Best Niagara Golf Event" (2004). Also among its accolades are 2003 Ontario Golf Awards as "Best Practice Facilities" and "Best Tournament Site".
