Saskatchewan isn't just one golf destination - the province offers several regional golf "hubs" - Prince Albert, Saskatoon, Regina, Yorkton, Niapwin and Lloydminster. In addition to the sheer number, variety and regional distribution of its 250+ golf courses, Saskatchewan boasts some of the country's very best, several of which are perennially selected as favourites in golf polls and highly ranked in national golf course ratings.     Saskatchewan golf courses - regional lists
In Score Golf Magazine's 2000 rankings, the Waskesiu Golf Course, an exceptional public layout in Prince Albert National Park was among the Most Underrated Courses in Canada. That same ranking listed The Willows G&CC, a magnificent 36-hole complex in Saskatoon, as one of the Top Ten regional courses for Central Canada, while the Riverside CC was among the "Top 100 Courses in Canada" in 2002.

Undoubtedly, many provincial courses and the Province of Saskatchewan itself (as a golf destination) would fare much better in golf rankings if they were as familiar and as much played as other Canadian sites.
